Our son held his wedding at Sugar Loaf. For anyone who loves beautiful mountain settings this is an excellent choice. The staff were helpful throughout the entire process and were easy to work with. Our son, his wife, wedding party and some relatives stayed on site. Not one complaint and many great memories were made. I highly recommend Sugar Loaf Lodge!

We stayed in the winter & I am just getting around to writing a review. Time got away from me... Everything was great! Monica, Jay & family were very warm and welcoming. We got in late & they stayed up to wait for our safe arrival. The roads were icy, but that's Montana. We found the place in the dark with no problem. The Suite we stayed in was clean, warm and comfortable. Plenty of room for our party of six. 4 adults & 2 children (9 & 10 year old). The spiral staircase was intriguing, the "younger" adults stayed upstairs. Seniors & younger children may have difficulty navigating the spiral stairs. It was so nice to have two bathrooms & a functional kitchen. Parking right in front to get easily in & out for unloading, packing & coming/ going. Close to Butte & Anaconda 20 to 30 minutes for food, gas, and entertainment. We also rented 3 snowmobiles for a tour with Mark & Cory. They were very patient with our group, even when one of us took a snowmobile in deep snow with a slow "dump over board". Cory was right there to respond and rescue. We got back on and carried on further up the trail. One of our backpacks also kept falling off & we had to stop a few times, our guides showed no announce with us. Cory & Mark took us on a two ish hour trip up the mountain, what a leg work out snowmobiles can be. It was absolutely gorgeous! Our family had so much fun. We created some core memories for our family for sure.

We had an amazing ski weekend at Sugar Loaf Lodge. Our cabin had beautiful rustic charm and was so cozy, warm and comfortable. The spiral staircase to get to the loft was a cool throwback and the views from the loft were amazing! The location is isolated which made it perfect for cross country skiers and snow mobilers to access the trails of Mt. Hagen right from the door. Our hosts were so kind and work very hard to make the lodge a special get-away.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Sugar Loaf Lodge & Cabins and it was absolutely magical. From the moment we first toured the venue, Monica was an absolute pleasure to work with. Friendly, accommodating, and always willing to answer every question (no matter how small). The property is tucked away in the mountains just outside Anaconda, Montana, giving it the most peaceful and intimate atmosphere. With little to no cell service or Wi-Fi, you can truly disconnect and be present with your guests. We chose an enchanted forest theme, and the setting could not have been more perfect. The outdoor ceremony space was stunning, and knowing we had an indoor option for backup gave us peace of mind. The reception lighting, provided by the venue, was spectacular and truly brought the evening to life. Monica went above and beyond. Helping with trash cleanup, checking in often, and making sure we had everything we needed. There’s no curfew and no nearby neighbors, which meant we could celebrate freely without worrying about noise. Our entire wedding party stayed in the cabins, which were cozy, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with enough beds for everyone to be comfortable. If I had one suggestion for future couples, it would be to add more signage for directions and parking. GPS works fine to get you there, but the turn can be easy to miss, and guest parking (across the street) is a little hard to spot. We are beyond pleased with our experience at Sugar Loaf Lodge & Cabins, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to start our forever!

Amazing cabins, beautiful location, and the owners (Jay and Monica) are extremely friendly. One of the last places that feels like real Montana.

A beautiful place that you will hardly find anywhere else. Can you imagine a place without cell service, no internet no Tv? It’s just you and the surroundings. A total detox from society. If you want to get away and I mean get away this is it. And if you’re lucky you will hear the elk bugle and the wolves howling in the distance. And Yes I would go back again
